Junior Academy
The Felling Junior Academy caters to boys and girls aged 7 to 19, providing a structured pathway for young cricketers to develop their skills, confidence, and love of the game. Our academy is designed to be inclusive, fun, and competitive, giving all players the opportunity to progress through age-group cricket while enjoying the social and community aspects of the club.
The Mighty Tree
All players benefit from high-quality coaching, tailored to their age and ability, helping them improve both technically and tactically. Beyond cricket skills, the academy emphasises teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal development, ensuring every child grows in confidence on and off the field. With access to modern facilities, safe practice areas, and regular match opportunities, young cricketers experience a well-rounded and engaging journey through the sport, all within a friendly, welcoming community that encourages lifelong participation.
Coaching Sessions
Junior coaching takes place all year round, led by our ECB Level 3 Senior Coach, Ron Young, supported by 15 fully qualified and vetted coaches. Summer coaching sessions run on Friday nights outdoors, while winter sessions take place indoors, ensuring year-round development in a safe and supportive environment. All sessions adhere to ECB Safe Hands guidelines, prioritising player welfare and creating a positive learning experience.
