Conditions of Booking

In these conditions:

  • ‘The Facilities’ means the rooms, premises, grounds, or any part thereof included in the hire.

  • ‘The Hirer’ means the person signing the application form, and where a promoting organisation is named, the organisation shall also be considered the Hirer and jointly liable.

  • ‘The Club’ means the Board of Directors of Felling Cricket Club, or where appropriate, a member of the Board, Manager, or delegated staff.

  1. A £30 fully refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. This can be paid once the date has been agreed – we will contact you to arrange payment. The deposit will be returned if the event goes ahead as specified and there is no damage to the Club premises or equipment, or unreasonable cleaning is required.

  2. The Club is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss sustained by the Hirer, their employees, or guests while on Club premises. The Hirer shall indemnify the Club against any such claims.

  3. The Hirer is responsible for any damage caused to the Facilities, fittings, equipment, or surrounding property during the period of hire.

  4. No drinks (alcohol, soft drinks, etc.) may be brought into the Club unless prior written agreement has been received from the Club.

  5. All persons attending the function must provide adequate identification or proof of age if requested.

  6. Anyone attempting to purchase alcohol for under-18s, or any under-18s attempting to purchase alcohol, will be asked to leave and the function may be terminated immediately.

  7. The function may be terminated and the deposit forfeited in the event of any breach of the peace, unlawful behaviour, or aggression towards management or staff.

  8. The Hirer accepts full responsibility for the conduct of all persons attending the function.

  9. Individuals banned from Felling Cricket Club are not permitted to attend any function held on Club premises.

  10. This booking is personal to the Hirer for the stated purpose. The Hirer may not sub-hire or use the Club premises for any other purpose.

  11. Acceptance of the booking form and deposit is subject to the Club verifying the booking, date, and times.

  12. The Club reserves the right to decline any booking at their discretion.

  13. Decorations are allowed as agreed with the Club at the time of booking.

  14. Confetti of all types (including metallic) and party poppers are not permitted.

  15. Guests are requested to respect the outdoor cricket facilities. The Hirer is responsible for any damage to practice nets, covers, or sight screens.
