Felling Cricket Club offers a versatile and welcoming venue for all types of private events. From Christenings and Engagement Parties to Birthdays and Funeral Receptions, our facilities are designed to make every occasion memorable. With flexible spaces, modern amenities, and large outdoor decking area, we cater for parties of all sizes.
Function Rooms
We have two function rooms available, each suited to different party sizes:

Large Room – accommodates up to 90 guests

Smaller Room – newly refurbished, accommodates up to 40 guests
Both rooms are ideal for celebrations, family gatherings, and social events, offering a comfortable and private space for your guests.
Our bar facility offers a range of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks at very competitive prices in comparison to local venues. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly atmosphere and excellent service.
Essential Information
Free Room Hire – £30 fully refundable deposit (funerals require a £30 fee to cover staffing costs)
Entertainment Options – built-in sound system so bring your own music; DJ available on request
Family-Friendly – children are welcome

Outdoor Decking
Built in 2022, our large outside decking area is the perfect setting for summer events, comfortably accommodating up to 70 guests. Guests can enjoy a relaxed and sociable atmosphere, with plenty of space to mingle and soak up the sun.
Sitting 70 people the decking area is one of the largest beer gardens in Gateshead , making it ideal for outdoor parties, casual gatherings, or pre-event drinks. Background music can be played to enhance the ambiance, and the area provides a safe and private space for both adults and children.
