Felling welcome Haydon Mustard and Omid Majrohy for 2027

Felling Cricket Club are delighted to welcome Haydon Mustard and Omid Majrohy ahead of the 2027 season.

Haydon joins as our Durham County Contracted Player. A top-order batsman and wicketkeeper who has made 18 professional appearances for Durham his T20 debut coming against Leicestershire in 2024. He has also represented England Under-19s at the World Cup and features for Northumberland CCC.

Haydon previously played in the NEPL for Benwell Hill and has spent the last two seasons at Shotley Bridge. He is currently spending the winter in Australia playing in Sydney for Newcastle City.

There are already strong family links to Felling. His dad,Phil previously played for the club while his uncle Alan is our current 1st XI captain so he should have no trouble fitting in!

Omid Majrohy joins from the GEMs following a fantastic season in which he took 47 league wickets at an average of 17 including five-wicket hauls against Ryton and Consett.

Having previously played for Cowgate, Omid is a skilful 17 year old swing bowler whose performances earned him a call-up to Northumberland Under-18s . We’re looking forward to seeing him build on that success in the NEPL at Felling.

We’re pleased to have both players joining us and look forward to welcoming them to the club for the 2027 season.
